Imran Afridi, MD, FACC, RPVI has been a practicing cardiologist in the Dallas area for more than 15 years. He has also been an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and served as director of Cardiac Stress Imaging at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic where he was engaged in research, as well as training of cardiology fellows. Dr. Afridi has published numerous papers and lectured at national and international cardiology conferences. He also is a reviewer for several peer review cardiology journals.

Dr. Afridi completed his fellowship in cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and his residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit. He is board certified in cardiology and certified in advanced echocardiography and nuclear cardiology by the American Societies of Echocardiography and Nuclear cardiology. Dr Afridi is also certified as a Registered Physician for Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) with ARDMS. Dr. Afridi is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His special interests include management of heart failure, complex valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, and preventive cardiology. Dr. Afridi and his wife have two children and live in Dallas.

Gaurav Gupta, MD, FACC, FSCAI is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiology, and internal medicine and is a peripheral vascular interventionalist. In addition to treating patients with variety of heart conditions, Dr. Gupta specializes in taking care of patients with coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease, with expertise in treating blocked arteries that can cause chest pain, leg pain, or heart attack. Dr. Gupta has been selected as One of America’s Top Interventional Cardiologists by the Consumer Research Council of America. He completed his medical school training from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, which accepts only 34 students from the entire country each year, then obtained his internal medicine residency training from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

After serving as assistant professor of medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, he underwent further training in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Gupta lives in Dallas with his wife, who is also a physician at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, and two children. He is an active member of the community and volunteers in several charitable medical and community organizations. He has published numerous research papers and has reviewed scientific papers for some of the leading cardiology journals.
